About OHPRB

The vision of the Office of Health Practitioner Registration Boards (OHPRB) is to provide quality services which enable the health practitioner registration boards to regulate their professions.

The OHPRB plays a critical role in the registration of suitably qualified health practitioners to ensure safe and competent health service delivery to the public.

Within a framework of legislation the organisation takes action to:

• promote and protect the public interest
• uphold the standards of practice within the professions
• maintain public confidence in the professions
